In last months video clip I showed how to start training go-outs by using a platform.
In this clip you will see me adding distractions along the go-out route. The platform and cooking on a plate help to draw my dog past the distractions to be able to perform a successful go-out.
This training is a great focus learning exercise for Pounce to learn how to stay on task in a positive and successful way with no corrections. When she does make a mistake, I help her to be right. The toys I am using are motor toys, in that they move and make noise, highly challenging! You can start with static toys along the route to make it easier.
