This video clip is taken from my new Positive Puppy Training DVD. This DVD is a collection of video clips to help you train your puppy or new novice dog for competition obedience.
In this clip you will see me showing a dumbbell retrieve with my 16 week old puppy Remi. Previous DVD clips show how I started Remi on the clicked dumbbell hold, and later video sessions working towards the retrieve. This sample clips shows how i prevent my puppy/dog from ever learning how to hit the dumbbell with his feet when retrieving, which will cost you unnecessary points off in the ring.
