Parking
Parking is beside the Mighty building away from Time4Dogs area. This is the first building as you come up the driveway. No parking on the grass, please do your best to park as close as possible.
Refreshments
TNT will have light refreshments and snacks by donation or there is plenty of nearby food options within 5 min drive.
A few things to review for your up coming Trial. Start times are approximate so please arrive early enough
to get settled in, especially if we’re ahead of schedule.
Equipment Reminder
A flat buckle, snap collar or a fixed harness and a leash are the ONLY approved equipment in the ring!
- Leashes – should be long enough to provide adequate slack. Hands free leashes are acceptable.
- When a fixed harness is used, the leash must be attached to the back.
Site Information
The Mighty building is fully matted and heated. However note the building is kept on the cool side in consideration of the working dogs. We recommend dressing warm and in layers for your comfort.
PLEASE assist us in keeping the mats clean by ONLY entering with clean feet both humans and dogs. As we wish to limit post trail cleaning for the host and volunteers.
CHAIRS WILL BE PROVIDED to avoid any outside chairs with dirt.
Warm up area
This will be in the trial building next to the ring. A fence barrier and a buffer will be in place but no visual barrier. This area will be for “On deck” and “In the hole” dogs. A separate ring entrance is in place. This will have a gravel outdoor space for warming up for dogs that have big feelings while getting ready!
Spectating and Social Area
Crating and viewing area is near the ring exit or west side of the building.
Crating
Please Crate in your vehicle if possible.
There is limited indoor crating as it’s in the trial building next to the ring but separate from the warm up area. It will be first come first serve. NO Ex-Pens, crates only to protect the rubber flooring.
Limited to ensure the success and enjoyment of the competitors while warming up and in the ring. Dogs that need it can enjoy indoor crating, only suitable for quiet dogs! Please be aware and courtesy for a calmer atmosphere.
IS THIS YOUR FIRST TRIAL?:
Before you register for your first trial, you’ll just need a dog ID number for CARO, which you can get super quickly here: https://www.canadianrallyo.ca/page/registerdog
(please note it will open weird on a mobile device sometimes – if that happens, click “view full page” then the english words on the left and then under the Dogs Tab you’ll find Registration)
Then you’re good to go to register once the link is released! If you don’t have your Dog ID by then, no worries! Simply just write “pending” in the dog ID spot and then just email us when you receive the number :)
Dog ID’s are a one-time payment for the lifetime of the dog.
However, there is also a HUMAN membership that you can pay for yearly that gives you access too a number of perks including: a log-in that allows you to see and track all of your dogs Q’s electronically AND a $10 discount on your dog memberships!
So if you are thinking you may want to become a member, I recommend filling out that form first and THEN doing your dog registration after, so that you get the discount!
