Do you want him/her to be not just a good neighbor but a great one? Good dogs make great neighbors and at TNT we can show you how. The Canine Good Neighbor (CGN) Program developed by the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) wants to ensure that one of our most favoured companions, the dog, is accepted as a valued member of our communities right across the country. Canine Good Neighbours can be counted on to present good manners at home, in public places and in the presence of other dogs.
Our CGN Advanced and Agility combo class prepares you and your dog for the CGN test, a short series of exercises that mimic real life situations. In fact these exercises, once completed can earn you a “title” of good neighbor and can also be used as a preparation for future volunteer work as a hospital or seniors facility visitor. The dogs will be further challenged by learning to respond to hand signals and continue to be introduced to agility equipment to further build their confidence. Our next set of CGN Advanced and Agility combo classes begin on Monday, February 27, 2012 at 6pm.
