Julie is our featured rescue for March. Three-year-old Julie is a gorgeous girl with a unique blue brindle coat and big, brown, melty brown eyes. A typical pittie, she adores her humans and is constantly trying out ways to snuggle her little body into yours. She is blessed with a fantastic foster family who takes her to training class every week, where she shines. She knows a number of cute tricks, and can even ring a bell to alert her humans when it’s time to go pee!
Julie came into foster care with some separation anxiety but is progressing wonderfully. She will need a home that will continue working with her andhelp her get used to a routine. She also needs a little help with her manners around other dogs. She is a bit nervous of new dogs and does best with slow, positive intros to prospective doggie friends. She could live with an easy-going male dog or possibly a dog-savvy cat.
Otherwise Julie is a very easy girl, and extremely polite and laid-back in the house. She is friendly, outgoing and snuggly with all people, and while she loves her walks the bright spot in her day is quality time with her humans.
