There’s no prerequisite for this fun-filled class. As well as strengthening your relationship with your dog it helps teach them how to learn and problem solve. It’s suitable for any age and training level and is great to help keep cognitive skills sharp in aging dogs.
This fun class requires dogs to have basic control skills such as working well around other dogs (no reactive dogs) a sit, down, come and some stay skills. We will be strengthening and working on these behaviours but your dog should have had at least one set of obedience classes at TNT or equivalent with another school. Dogs will be working off lead the majority of the class.
Does your dog take you for a drag? Has going for a walk become a test of endurance between you and your dog? Teaching your dog to walk on a loose leash can make a huge difference in how much fun taking your dog for a walk is.
Learn a variety of techniques that will help you teach your dog to keep some slack in the leash and make your daily outings much more relaxed.
Does your dog ignore you when you call him? Do you find yourself yelling ” come” over and over again as you chase him around the dog park, If you answered yes to these questions our “Come when Called” class is just for you!
One week’s notice (7 days) prior to the start of your class is required for cancellations. There is a $25 cancellation/office charge (even if you cancel 7 days prior) which will be deducted from the amount you originally paid, no exceptions. Our classes are in high demand and late cancellations make the opportunity for someone else to join no longer an option.
Please check your calendar carefully and plan to attend the classes you signed up for or have someone bring your dog to class on your behalf.
Classes are NOT REFUNDABLE unless we are given 7 days' written notice. If you request to be transferred to a different class (if space is available) we require 10 days’ notice and a $15 office fee will apply.
When registering for a class in the current health climate, you are registering knowing that there is a risk that you may have to miss a class or two due to quarantine. There is no refund or make up class for missed lessons. Please review our FAQ – Can I Make up a Class if I have to Miss One?
